I have to share my great experience with Alima MMU. I have acne prone oily skin. I am IN LOVE with alima mineral makeup. It has such wonderful coverage and it's quick and easy. I don't have that makeup cakey feel! As an added bonus, my skin looks amazing without makeup too!! It's been great for my skin. My acne probe skin acts like I've never had acne before!! Anyway I just thought this might help others out there looking for a good mineral makeup. They have samples at alimapure.com if anyone is interested. It really works wonders!! |

Thanks for the rave, Moser1978. I'm on a mission to find the best mineral foundation, and I just ordered the sampler.
I'm mid 40s with skin that's oily with dry patches, visible pores, and occasional breakouts so minerals work for me. Unfortunately, I've had a hard time matching skin tone. It's so cool/pink that anything with yellow turns my skin sallow & anything slightly warm turns it orange.
Hopefully Alima will be magical!
The eyeshadows are beautiful and someone in another thread was raving about the #25 brush so I had to try that, too. Thanks again,

I like Alima a lot, great coverage and very wide range of shades. However lately I've been using Pur Minerals as it comes in a more easily portable compact, for travelling or just carrying in my handbag. I prefer Alima and still use it sometimes, just wish they sold a compact version, rather than only loose powder. |
