Hi Ladies,
I recently bought a coupon for a couple of red light sessions and I was so excited as I used to own a Baby Quasar that I loved. I just cam back from the clinic where they refused to do the treatments as they are saying that if I have melasma (which I am not sure I have - hyper pigmentation maybe )the red light can make it worst .They offered to do an analysis of my skin with Visia and to replace the led therapy with peels . I am not happy with this as I don't trust the Visia and the peels I had in the past in different places were not effective ...The result of them was usually a very dry creepy skin and not a real peel ...
I was thinking that I'll ask them for a refund or to do the led at my own risk ... The worst thing now is that I started to have doubts and you know how the placebo works ...
Please help .. what are your thoughts?

I wouldn't risk it. You should be happy that the clinic didn't just take your money and do the procedure - shows ethics on their part. What if they said, sure! We'll do the procedure! - and it turns out a disaster? |
