Okay,so i am one desperate gal right now I am in need of something that will make my skin glow, make my pores shrink and maybe...just maybe help me with my broken caps. Okay, that might be too much of an ask Well i have pretty congested skin. Dull, big pores,a massive broken capillary on the tip of my nose I have read about dry brushing and everyone on here seems to be raving about how great it is. I am just wondering if all of this is true, and is it suitable for quite sensitive skin? Thanks, guys |

Drybrushing is basically a combination of manual exfoliation and massage. It gives your skin a more polished look, which should help with the dullness and make the pores less noticable. Also, it improves circulation which will help with both the dullness and the congestion. And of course whatever you put on your face will be absorbed better when you have gotten rid of the dead skin cells.
It is important that you use a good brush so you don't damage your skin, and build up slowly so your skin can get used to it. Maybe it's a good idea to start with a soft brush, like a baby's hairbrush. I also think that it's important to use products that support the skin barrier, but if you have sensitive skin you probably already do. |
