Hi, I am new to making vitamin C serum. I made a batch last night. It was around 15%
I used:
1/2 tsp of l-asorbic powder
2 tsp of rosewater
1 and 1/4 tsp of glycerin
I have combination skin, the glycerin was too thick I believed. It did not penetrate into my skin, it felt like it left a film on my face. What can I use to replace it? propylene glycol or HA? or should it just skip it and only use the asorbic powder and rosewater?
If I use the HA, can I use the Hadalabo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Lotion?
Because I want to use my hope in a jar moisturizer after the serum, the glycerin made me feel that my moisturizer could not penetrate into my skin, that's why I want to find an alternativev.
Also, how many is the ph of the serum supposed to be? Where can I get the ph test strips? Thank you very much for your patience and help! |
