Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Eye reduces the appearance of deep wrinkles and helps relax and diminish the appearance of expression lines. It Firms, brightens, and moisturizes the eye area, while It help to reduce the visible signs of aging. |

I would suggest pure Moroccan Argan oil. There are many brands of Argan oil ranging from $10-$40 depending on your budget and size of bottle. One brand I like is SheaTerra Morrocan Argan oil, but you can use other brands as long as it is 100% pure Argan concentrated oil. If you can not find it, Amazon sells it. Argan oil when apply on delicate eye area restore moisture, provide protective barrier, help diminish the appearance of eye wrinkles and also prevent further damage to the skin.
-A protective sunglasses is a must to protect your eye area during the day (in the sun)...
- try not to rub your delicate eye area too hard..
- use a sunscreen of at least 30 SPF when going out in the sun (very important)..
BTW, you have great brown eyes too so make sure that you keep them hydrated |

(In my opinion) CS23 is too young for something as drastic as "botox" injection. Please try our suggestions first to start. There isn't a quick fix "overnight" because his skin has to recover first. Give it 2-3 months approx.... As long as he moisturize everyday AM/PM.... his skin will recover for sure.

I didn't think Botox was for under eye. That would make his eyes expressionless, wouldn't it? Not a good thing for such beautiful eyes, IMO. |

It looks like the skin under one eye is a lot dryer and more sundamaged than the other side? Is that the side that catches the most sun, or the most radiation from your computer screen?
If so, first of all use a good sun block to prevent further damage and give the skin a chance to heal itself. Feed it nice anti-oxidants (anti ox booster from Skin Actives maybe) at night, and when you go out into skin drying conditions like dry wind, sun, dry cold, put a very thin layer of vaseline under your eyes to prevent moisture loss. |

Because of my line of work, I spend all day in computer usage and on the phone, but I don't think computer usage is the reason. Anyway, as long as he hydrates his skin (per all suggestions) and use a sunscreen, it will improve his skin and protect it from further damage.

Hi Jade,
I haven't been able to consistently use argan oil to moisturize. Now that I have more time, I will make it a daily habit. The thing is, my face is really oily after using argan oil. I have no problem doing it in the evening, but what should I do in the morning?
Also, I have rose hip seed oil. I bought with the argan oil. I don't know if you are familiar with it, but should I use both or stick to one? Could i use both at the same time?
thanks |

I'd highly recommend looking into LED lights. I use the DPL (Deep penetrating light) LED lights, but also got a little hand held one on Amazon for around $30.
These lights were created by NASA back in the 70s to help astronauts coming back from missions, because it was discovered that people don't heal in space. Rather inconvenient, so NASA set about making them something they could take with so when they were injured they could begin the healing process rather than waiting until they got back to Earth.
In a nutshell they increase the circulation of the area being treated and heal scars, wrinkles and open sores too. They are FDA approved for pain relief and I have found they do indeed not only get rid of scars and wrinkles but help active wounds heal a lot faster. The skin becomes much "thicker" and more dewy feeling. I'm slowly getting rid of age spots too.
Recently I had a couple of days with a really stiff neck and laid on the lights for 20 to 30 minutes each day and felt much better. The lights penetrate quite deeply and bring all kinds of good "things" to the area that helps relax it. I do not think my experience was the placebo effect.
Just a thought. |

botox to stop the repetitive movement that is causing the wrinkles. Then use a great anti wrinkle cream and a 30 sunscreen. It will take months..but the wrinkles will repair. |

CS23, in the morning, try just patting on a drop or two after washing your face - don't dry, just rub a drop or two of oil into your palms and then pat over your face. I do this with olive oil when I want to give my skin a rest from AHAs or CPs. You mentioned Evening Primrose Oil, which sounds as if it would be ideal for your oily skin.
Evening primrose oil (from Truth in Aging):
Quote: |
Because of its ability to dilute sebum production, evening primrose oil is good at calming acne flare-ups, while at the same time hydrating skin. The astringent properties of the plant's juice can soothe skin irritations and inflammations.
Evening primrose's high level of antioxidants, which counteract the detrimental effects of oxidation in living tissue, make it a worthy inclusion in skin preparations for smoothing roughness, reducing fine lines, and lightening dark circles around the eyes. |

Welcome back CS23 Both Argan oil and Rosehip seed oil are beneficial to the skin and I use both...
Pure Argan oil is high in Vitamin E which is great for fighting harmful free radicals by improving the elasticity of the skin (which you need) and ability to hold moisture. It also has essential fatty acids (i.e. Linoleic acids) to reduces wrinkles and fine lines... Argan oil is not greasy at all. It absorbs quickly. Once absorbed, there is no greasy feel on the skin... You only need a tiny little drop for the full face... For best result, try to warm the Argan oil on your palm before applying on your skin...
On the other hand, Rosehip oil has a high concentration of Vitamin A which promotes increased collagen to make our skin more supple. It has Vitamin E too to fight wrinkles and fine lines because of the fatty acids and help promote healthy skin cells. Regular use of this oil prevent dry skin and will lessen/diminish wrinkles......
Since both oils are beneficial to the skin, I suggest you use both oils, depending on your "moods" at the time of the application...
Just make sure that you clean your face first before applying.... Good luck!

Honestly, what surprises me is that NO ONE has mentioned that YOU DO NOT HAVE TERRIBLE WRINKLES!!!
In fact, none to my eyes, ... ONE little one when smiling on one under eye!!! When smiling...!!!!
For when you start wrinkles or to prevent them, the advice is good though. Just my opinion. |

I agree with Jade about protecting your eyes during the day. You do have nice eyes that smile!
I use Argan oil. Just be sure it is 100%. It does not need to be a brand name but can be purchased from health food store or online store such as Garden of Wisdom.
I am much older than you. In the evening; I like to apply an eye treatment all over the eye area. I apply a couple drops of oil on the UNDER eye area only. After that has absorbed (I give it a minute or two) I then apply a little Aquaphor to seal it in. This has helped tremendously! My under eye wrinkles look plumped in the morning.
I think the secret is oil then a thick ointment like Aquaphor. I have various oils and it does not seem to matter. Squalane, argan, and rose hip work fine for me.
I read about this another forum and it works really well for me.
During the day I use a moisturizing eye cream then SS over it. I sometimes apply a drop of oil before the SS; but often I am rushed and don't. The night time is better for shiny oils and ointments. |

Jewel, that's really interesting! I googled it a bit and it seems there is some good research behind it. Salons even offer LED therapy!
Do you use the handheld one around your eyes? How long do you have to hold it for and how often do you need to use it? |

I have nothing against LED therapy but would not suggest to CS23 as this is a huge investment and costs a lot of money. He is so young and being young, his skin will surely recover much quicker than older person.... Please use the 2 oils (Argan oil and Rosehip oil) that you already bought. Regular use of these oils to moisturize will help bring back the moisture (and balance) of your skin "naturally"... Good luck! |

Great advice everyone,
I think I was using way too much oil, i think close to 10 drops.
Should I warm 1 to 2 drops in my palms before applying it to my face? I'll use both oils at the same time.
Would it be okay, to use Vaseline to seal in the oils after each treatment. Just in the night? |
