A little about me. I'm fair skinned. I use Retin-A and I'm paranoid about premature aging and sunspots. I'm 35 years old and use Burnout Kids or Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection for Face and Body SPF 60 PA+++ daily on my face and decolletage. I'm looking for a sunscreen for my body for this vacation and avoiding the sun and covering head to toe is not something I want to do the entire trip, especially since I have some daytime excursions planned such as snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. I'm looking for a reasonably priced high quality sunscreen for my body. I plan to use the 2 I have in stock currently on my face but something a little less expensive is in order for the rest of my body. Suggestions please?

I just returnded from a 15 day cruise Miami to
San Diago via Panama Canal. As I had just finished a Reaura treatment month I was both anxious to preserve the gains I had made and protect my newly lasered skin from sunburn. I used Hawaiian Tropic Oil Free SPF 60 all over, stayed in the shade on the ship, wore a hat in the pool and used an umbrella when on shore excursions. Didn't even get a bikini tan! I recently read that Coppertone sunscreen is a well rated drugstore brand in terms of effectiveness (cannot say about green ness etc)and that was what I was actually looking for when I purchased the HT brand. I needed something really reaso ably priced as I knew I would be using liberal amounts, but I think I have enough for the next year now LOL.

Alas, back to keeping the snow out of my boots!

PS I am very fair skinned, green eyes, red hair and before ReAura, freckles. The worst kind of skin for sunburn.

I think I was not clear - my complexion has always been quite freckle prone as I have a liberal helping of the red head gene. Since using ReAura, my freckles have disappeared (which I do prefer). I mentioned them just to show that I am someone extremely susceptable to sun damage, and that with the use of caution and sunscreen was able to avoid getting additional damage whilst on a tropical holiday. Not even a bikini line tan.

I am so happy to read that ReAura help with the freckles! I wish it is available in Canada.
