I've been enjoying some new finds in the past month or so and thought I'd share. I'm 44, dry skin, fine lines under eyes and on cheeks when I smile. I'm taking a break from my beloved Decleor Eye Serum since I've been using it for months and months and its only supposed to be used for 28 days!
Mirra Fleur Renaissance Regard Eye Contour Emulsion with Caviar from pricklyapple.com - I read about pricklyapple.com at MUA and had to investigate. I've always wanted to try LaPrairie's eye serum with caviar but it's over $100! This was $44. I use this alone at night undereyes and on eyelids too and when I wake up my under eyes are hydrated, plump and smooth and my eyelids are smooth too! Nice firming effect. The ingredients are caviar, grapeseed, jojoba, wild rose, ylang ylang, milk thistle and more. I recieved 5 very generous samples from pricklyapple and a Full Size lip balm! There was a sample of caviar face cream that I really liked (nice firming smoothing effect) that is on my list to try when I take a break from vitamin c. I found this a little too heavy for daytime use.
Burts Bees Eye Repair Serum with attar of Rose - $18 at healthfood store, has rosehip seed oil, evening primrose, borage, hazelnut, neroli, vit e, green tea and more. I mix this with eye cream, dab it on the back of my hands before I put hand cream on, dab it on my cheeks, neck, everywhere. Very moisturing, sinks right in. I glow when I use this on my face. This is going to be a staple also.
Reviva Serum Revital Eyes - healthfood store, $23, 6 little vials. Has hylauronic acid and lots of extracts. I use in the a.m., undereyes and eyelids and eyecream on top. Wonderful base, smooths, keeps eyes hydrated longer than just eyecream. Can't speak to it helping for dark circles (although it claims to) as I don't really have them, but my eyelids look better than they have in ages and my undereye area stays nice and smooth all day when I use this as base! I'm going to alternate this with the Decleor Eye Serum, love them both.
Thanks for reading! |
