a Clarisonic Plus or get 8 sessions of laser Hair Removal?
The laser hair removal at the clinic nearby my town has a 70% off as a Halloween promotion until Nov. 3rd.
I'm not sure if to purchase the Clarisonic ortake advantage of the hair removal promotion. What's more worth the money and why?
Thank You! |

Hello morocha I don't have enough hair to rid of for laser hair removal so I can not comment on it However, I think it would be worth the money to invest on Clarisonic as I read so many great reviews from Forum members who use it. Many of them say that it cleanses their skin better like no other. Great investment in the long term.

I bought a Clarisonic plus recently. I have noticed, as others have commented, that the products I apply after seem to sink in much better suggesting it does the job of cleaning out my pores thoroughly. The only quam I have with mine is that even though the brush head I am using is a sensitive one, it is too harsh for my skin - need to get the delicate one and see how that goes. I would recommend the clarisonic though just make sure you get the right brush head for your skin type. |

I plan to buy my mom a Clarisnic too for Christmas this year, so that she can clean her face/neck/body "better". Info at forum suggests that skin-care creams do penetrate more after using Clarisonic.... so I think it would be a great investment.. |

From experience, it takes more than 8 sessions to get rid of all hair -- of course this depends on the area (I got my underarms done and it took more than 10 sessions).
I LOVE my Clarisonic Pro and it has definitely helped me with my skin. I not have way less blackheads. |

In fact it takes more than 8 sessions to get all of your hairs removed. However, in my case 90% were gone (under arms) and I go to electrolysis once every 6 weeks its cost me 15$ for 10 minutes. Now I still have about 5 hairs left and I use the time left (since I pay for 10 minutes) to have my chin done.
I would say it is the best gift I bought my self. It is so great never have to worry about your under arms. |

You have to be careful about laser hair reduction. Don't just blindly pick a place with a Groupon. If you have black hair and white skin you will the best results. Talk to friends and see where they have gone and have gotten the best results. There are lots of machines out there and so many different settings and so much variation on the skill of the tech.
As for the Clarisonic, I think mine is the best thing ever. And they are less than your $300! A Pro Face and Body retails for $225. If you can find a Pro Face (no body brush included but you can always buy one another time) then they are $199. Clarisonic stopped making the Pro Face in August but maybe some salons/spas still have some on the shelf.
Then use your leftover money for a great cleanser or serum! Good luck!!! |

Do you have a NuFace device or a LightStim? I like both. |

I would do the laser hair removal if you are a good candidate however be sure to find out what type of laser they use and research to make its appropriate for you. |

I was receiving electrolisys (sp) regularly 2x per week spending 50$ per week, and noticed slower growth on a short term basis, but it would have been a couple thousand more to get signif results and the time, pain and money just wasn't worth it. I am a red head so Lazer is out, I tried a NONO and again the 300 investment was a waste. I am stuck with tweezers until a miracle happens. |

Hi! I used it to pay 10-12 sessions of hair removal!
I might try the clarisonic later, I'm a beach freak so I think the hair comes first!
By the way are there any ways to try the clarisonic for free before deciding to purchase? |

You could go to a spa that sells them and get a 30 min facial. |

If it were me, I would get the Clarisonic.
I prefer shaving anyways. |
