Does anyone know if this works? Read a lot of info about it and many say it works.

I had my Vitamin D levels measured and they came to be dangerously low. I started taking D supplements and while my health improved greatly, my acne or cystic acne did not improve.

I have finally worked out a regiment that keeps my acne at bay, but D3 was not it.

I take 10,000ius a day (dr recommendation) due to very low levels as well. I still get occasional breakouts too.

I recommend you use the tea tree oil 100% pure, your acne will disappear.

Hi Dozer! When my Vit D levels were low I was very depressed, tired and easily angered. Once my Vit levels started to normalize the depression got better. I eventually started feeling good enough to exercise and was very lucky to meet a wonderful very positive trainer in martial arts. I started exercising and training and the depression lifted even more. Now I get a little sad in the days leading up to my period, but it is very manageable.

As far as my skin regime - here's a little background info on me first. I am 39 years old and started having acne breakouts in my early 20s. I did not have acne or oily skin as a teen. My acne was mostly around my forehead, the sides of my temples, hairline, close to my nose chin and jawline and I almost never had on my cheeks. The cysts were mostly on my chin, around my nose and between my eyebrows and eyes.
So, being 39 years old, my concerns are acne and wrinkles and I am hope I am addressing both adequately.
Morning
- wash with Olay foaming facial wash for sensitive skin with a Clarisonic brush
- spray Timeless skincare HA spray with Matrixyl 3000
- apply Proactive 2.5% benzoyl peroxide lotion
- apply Olay Regenerist regenerating serum for some antioxidants, niacinamide and more peptides
- apply sunscreen of SPF 30 (currently CeraVe AM lotion which I really like)

Evening
- Wash with the olay wash using a clarisonic brush
- apply vit C serum
- Apply Proactive night repair lotion with salicylic acid
- apply olay deep wrinkle treatment

Weekly - Clay Mask – I really like the red Moroccan Clay. My skin feels clean, but not tight and dry afterwards.
I also like to use a mask made up of ground oatmeal and chamomile tea. I just put some oatmeal and a few chamomile tea bags in the blender and blend everything to a fine powder. I keep this in a jar and when I want to use it I put a couple of tablespoons of this mixture in a container, add some hot water, let it thicken a bit and then I apply to my face. I’ll go around doing some house chores for a while and then I wash it off. My face looks really good and glowing after this mask.
I use the pore strips a couple of times a week. I use them on my forehead, nose and chin. I try to use them at night before I apply the salicylic acid. I’m thinking if my pores are as clean as possible then the SA can reach deeper into the pore and do its job better.

So, that’s what I’ve been doing for about a couple of months now. My skin is clear of acne or cysts. I’ve been through two menstrual cycles and had only one pimple. I’m really happy with that. It’s a lot of work and I have to stay consistent with this routine, but I don’t mind at this point because I can see the good results.

Would you please explain exactly how to use the tea tree oil? I've used tea tree oil as a spot treatment and it helps to disinfect and tone down the inflammation, but the acne didn't disappear. It always came back in the same or in a different part of my face.
I've also used facial wash with tea tree oil and that didn't make the acne disappear.
I've also put some tea tree oil drops in a wash basin and splashed my face with it.
None of these things make the acne disappear. It's good as a spot treatment, but that's all. In my experience I have to treat my entire face (the parts that have acne and the parts that don't have acne) so I can make sure that I don't get any.
I would prefer to use tea tree oil instead of benzoyl peroxide, so I am hoping you can detail exactly how you've used it to successfully make acne disappear.
Thanks you.
