I get really dry and cracked feet in the winter. I have tried all sort of creams that all my friends have recommended. I find that they DO NOT work and all I am doing is throwing away my money..
Sad
Has anyone hear of a cream that would or will make me feet soft and silky again

Help needed Crying or Very sad

Recently went to a podiatrist. Amazing. Won't waste time with pedicures anymore. Shaved away all the dead skin...wow! Didn't realise I had so much gunk on my feet. Anyway enough scary stories. Pod, finished off with a cream for very very dry skin called Eulactol. Not sure if it's available where you are.
Quite good, smother my feet at night, pop a pair of socks on and in the morning my feet are nice and soft.

Some time ago I received Gehwol's leg and foot cream as a special offer from EDS. Absolutely loved the product. Although I don't have dry, cracked feet, my bother-in-law uses Gehwol's Blue cream and can't be without it. Perhaps someone on the forum can give more feedback on it.

The L'Occitane foot cream is fantabulous!! My friends and I all swear by it. It has shea butter, lavender and is super-duper emollient. My feet were always very parched before I found this and I've always gone back to it. I can't comment on the Gehwol since I've never tried it, but I figure it never hurts to have a few products to try out to keep you from consumer boredom. Wink

Hi

Thank you so much I will try the Eulactol
Gehwol's Blue cream
L'Occitane I will see which one works the best.

The other thing that I might do is go to a foot doctor and get my feet back to normal.

I also tried the L'occitane lavender foot cream, it's best I tried so far, it get absorbed quickly, not oily, and the lavender is antiseptic.

I tried wearing socks in bed, just couldn't fall asleep with oily feet and socks.....

I have been very impressed with all of the Gehwol products I have tried although I have not tried the cream for dry cracked feet specifically. I would suggest you try it though, it's not very expensive and it's great quality!

You can either get it from Sephora's website (www.sephora.com) or directly fromwww.loccitane.com. It's about $22 or thereabouts from what I can remember and one tube lasted me, like, a year. Smile

My favourites are:
Gehwol Blue Cream
Akileine for Extremely Dry Feet
Janson Beckett Moisture Balance Night Cream
I've been using (from the Janson Beckett Spa Line) Moisture Balance Night Cream & although the jar is much smaller than the above, I put it on my heels & any other rough spots. I've also been using it on a deep fresh scar & the scar has never scabbed - in fact it just kind of transitioned itself to where I can still really see where it is & definitely know it's a major scar but it looks darn healthy.
It's better than any other intense moisturizer that I have ever tried & I love it with either the Gehwol or Akileine. Wink
