I've had the same bottle for 4 years but still about a quarter remaining, is it safe to use? |

There should be a symbol on the bottle of an open container with a number of months on it. Most things are 12-24 months. If it doesn't smell bad, do a test spot! |

I've had some old fake tanner. What I found is that when it got too old it didn't "tan" anymore! |

Yes, I turned myself orange using expired tan solution. Some of the ingredients stop working and either doesn't tan or creates an unfavorable balance on the skin when it develops. |
