Has anyone seen or tried the macro exfoliator from Rodan and Fields? It's only been out for a few months. I have a few friends who are using it and like it but I was wondering if it is similar to the PMD Personal Microderm. The PMD can be found cheaper and has cheaper replacement heads and I don't have to join a club to get the price. I am really interested in getting one of them but I'm unsure of how they compare and which would be better. Thank you.
I'd post a link to it, but as a newbie I can't. You can google Rodan and Fields Macro Exfoliator or "Redefine Macro Exfoliator" if you aren't familiar with it. To my untrained eyes it looks very similar to the PMD. |

I am a consultant for Rodan+Fields, and have been using the MACRO-exfoliator since February. I absolutely love it, and I'm not just saying that because I sell them! The Macro is backed by the Stanford trained dermatologists who created Proactiv. The doctors have already proven themselves in the acne world. They are taking their skin care line to the same level they took Proactiv! The doctors have regimens for all skin types(acne, sun damage/spots, anti-ageing and sensitive skin). The MACRO-e is clinically proven to remove 5 million dead skin cells after ONE use! The diamond head tip is good for 1 year! The MACRO-e also has what the doctors call, 'DOC SMART TECHNOLOGY". This is a built in mode the doctors have created. Not all areas need the same exfoliation. There is also a manual mode, for those who are more experienced with micro-exfoliation. If you are interested, please contact me. I would love to talk in more detail. |

Thank you for putting the link up for me. Also, for what it's worth the Rodan and Fields one costs $252 if you join the club and $279 without according to their literature. The PMD is at least $100 less. I can't figure out why. I know my friends who use the Rodan and Fields one haven't heard of the PMD and I don't think they are neutral. Either they sell it or they shelled out $250 or more and don't want to say they over paid.
Sheribda1, I appreciate the response, but I'm really more interested in someone who can compare both products. I'm sure the Macro Exfoliator has excellent results and I know people are happy with it. |
