I started using this stuff as a result of a virtual accident, but I really do love it....
I was out of town on a business trip about a year ago and realized that I had forgotten my face cleanser. I don't remember what it was I was using at the time.... I think it was something from Remede... I exfoliate regularly and use various cleansing masks, so to be honest, I never really paid all that much attention to my cleanser and mainly tried lots of different products. I should also say that I have combination skin and, aside from always looking for ways to keep my skin looking young and firm, my major skin complaint was enlarged pores and the very occasional but very gross zit.
When I was stuck in the boonies, my options were pretty slim. I picked this up at the drugstore.
I haven't used anything else since! I have to say this stuff is amazing. It has fairly low concentrations of both salicylic acid and alpha hydroxy. In the year that I've been using it, I haven't gotten a single breakout - not one! My skin is clearer, smoother, and brighter and my pores have shrunk considerably...
I never would have thought that I'd be so pleased with something from the drugstore, but I like it better than the Obagi, Dermalogica, Remede, and MD Forte cleansers that I had tried previously. |
