Hello!
I was wondering what your skintypes are and what products you use overnight
I always moisturize at night with a firming cream. However I am giving my skin a break now hoping that it will clear up a little bit

clean with olive oil and microderm flannel skin bio super cop 2x serum and bright eyes serum then emu oil on top. I'm also using mario badescu on one eye and origins night-a-mins on the other coz I'm testing the origins for the beauty bible...I'm pretty impressed with it!
My skin is now normal, but prone to dryness if it's cold.

My skin is oily/combination and it doesn't like to feel overloaded with products at night. I always cleanse and tone, sometimes use a couple of drops of Decleor's Neroli Oil that makes my skin very soft. I also like to use Decleor's Essential Balm but not on everyday basis - just a few days each month as a special treat (but I think that this is what you're supposed to do with this balm anyway). |

I have oily, mature skin (just turned 40) with breakouts and some fine lines. At night I use:
-SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.5% (face)
-M.D. Forte Rejuvenation Eye Cream w/ Retinol
and alternate it every other night with:
-DermaDoctor Wrinkle Revenge Rescue & Protect Eye Balm
-DermaDoctor Wrinkle Revenge Rescue & Protect Facial Cream |

I have been using the Derma Doctor Eye Balm and Face Cream for only 3 weeks so it's too soon to give any feedback. The eye balm is supposed to be an all-in-one eye cream which is said to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles, firm the undereye area and help with fine lines and it can be put on the upper eyelid as well. I have been using their Picture Porefect Minimizing Solution for over a month now and really love it (it has retinol and glycolic acid in it). It keeps my face from getting oily and helps control my breakouts. For once my skin has a matte look to it. I also use DermaDoctor's Body Guard Oil-Free SPF 30 Sunblock on my face during the day. It's nice because it goes on thin, not pasty at all. But my favorite so far is DermaDoctor's Immobile Lines Topical Line Relaxer. I put it on my forehead and between my brows and it really numbs the area and keeps creases from forming. It goes on like a cream, as opposed to CSRx Relax-A-Line which is Serum consistency. But, I can't give up my CSRx Relax-A-Line Serum and still use this and put it over the Immobile Lines. I have been really happy with the DermaDoctor products. I am hoping they will add a Cleanser and Toner to their line of products. |

Thanks for the quick response. Just one more thing, is the face cream greasy at all and is the eye cream moisturizing. Right now my skin is still on the oily side but my undereye area is really dry. Thanks. |

I also have oily skin with the only dry area being under my eyes. The eye balm is very moisturizing and the face cream doesn't seem to be causing any breakouts for me. |

I'm using the skinceuticals retinol 0.5 twice a week at night. The other nights I use vit C or Decleor essential balm.
If I'm really dry I'll use decleor hydra floral |

Hi there!
My mother's a dermatologist and I'd have to say that I love the products that I use every night (and many of them are available over the counter!).
To clean my face I use:
La Roche Posay's Toleraine fash wash. It's wonderful.
I then dot a little Metrocream on my chin (I have rosacea)
I do not moisturize my face. I have normal skin and moisturizing can sometimes cause the face to become more oily. I, do, however, apply either Kinerase or Prevage (prevage is great) to my smile lines/around the eyes and sometimes I apply Replenix (Topix: green tea product) on my face because it is a light (moisturizer I guess) product that seems to lift the face ever so slightly.
That's my regiment!
Please do my survey to help my graduate thesis! It's a survey asking you what you like and want in your skin care product.

Oily, acne prone skin. Benzoyl peroxide and a Cetaphil moisturizer. Looking to replace bp with Retin A as soon as I get to the doc. It dries my skin out but it's the only thing that keeps my zits away. |

I use Retin-A 0.05% cream every other night. On the off nights, I use the Age Limit Advanced Serum (AHA glycolic/lactic acid for sensitive skin). If my skin is getting dry, I apply rice bran oil or jojoba at night and it works very well to balance and moisturize my skin. I have also been experimenting with a matrixyl serum at night over the AHA. I use Relax-A-Line on frown lines/crow's feet topped off with either shea butter or nivea coQ10 at night, too.
Was that too much to read!!? |

Hi, dry and 44 yrs. old.
Eye Makeup Remover: Kiehl's Supremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
Cleanse: Cleansing Milk, right now Alba Botanica Coconut Milk
Eye Treatment: Alternate Mirra Fleur Eye Contour Emulsion with Caviar and Renova
Face Treatment: Alternate nights Renova and Dr. Denese Glycolic Acid Pads (if I'm feeling a little dry, some rosehip oil over it)
Couple nights a week: Decleor Ylang Ylang Oil on my nose!
Alot, I know...
And the Dr. Denese Glycolic Acid Pads from QVC are excellent! |
