I'm considering laser but not all my hair is dark and I think it has to be to work??? I saw something on TV called NoNo but not sure how it works. I'm wide open to suggestions.
Thanks

Just say no to NO NO. If you are really convinced by their ads, use the 60 day money back guarantee and mark your calendar. I would be pleased if it worked for you, but I tried the no no and it was a TOTAL bust. That being said I have very different hair than you - very fine short blond hair.
Just mark your calendar in case you decide you find it less effective than you hoped.
For my $, go to the dollar store and purchase a few bags of disposable razors. This does work and provides a certain amount of exfoliation which is a very good thing. |

I bought the REM below. It works really well once you get the hang of it. There are ones that look similar that only cost a couple dollars but I don't have any experience with those brands.

You could try laser for the dark hair. Seems to work pretty well. As someone with dark facial hair and just a few whitish hairs (grey? ) I wold venture to say it's the dark hairs that are really unsightly, the light hairs blend in so they arent quite as bad. |

Hi PeeWee, I highly recommend laser for dark hair, in my case it was hairs that were dark and thick due to hirsutism from an hormonal imbalance. The rest of my facial hair is fine blond as I am fair haired with fair skin. The laser has worked wonders on the dark hair. Gone for months on end after more or less four treatments, one or two may reappear then so I just go for another treatment and it is solved for many more months. For the peachy fine blond hair I just use a razor once every two weeks while in the shower, takes no time and exfoliates as someone has mentioned!! |

I can't speak for the laser removal, but I can give you a temporary alternative until you decide on something permanent. Epilate!
It picks up the thicker, longer hairs and only leaves behind a tiny hint of peach fuzz. It takes longer for the hairs to grow back because it removes the root. I personally think it looks more youthful and natural than a perfectly smooth face, too. |

For a day: shaving
For two days: depilatories
Forever: electrolysis
