I've been using an old cold cream recipe for years now, and I can't quite remember where I originally found it. It's driving me nuts! It seems like I found it on pintrest or something like that but I don't think that site has existed for as long as I've been using this recipe. I'd love to thank whoever I got it from. It's been a real life saver sine the beeswax-borax kind irritates my skin.
Btw the recipe was equal volume amounts of water, glycerin, liquid oil, and emulsifying wax. |

Uh....darn! I guess nobody knows. :P
When I'm in a hurry I also sometimes mix up polysorbate, water, oil, and glycerin in equal amounts. But it's way too thin and unstable to use in the long term. That's just when I run out of cold cream and I'm in a hurry. I don't like to waste my straight oil cleanser in the mornings, you know.
I could have sworn this was a regular "classic" cold cream recipe, but it seems like I'm the only one who's ever done it this way. I've been googling and I just can't find anything. |
