I use NIA24 because it was helped with my light hyperpigmentation issues, and because I read that niacimin is really good for the skin.
In the morning I use CE feluric (skinceuticasl) and then NIA24 skin stregthening complex. Is this combination o.k.? or are these products incompatible?
At night, I'm using atralin (tretonoin) and after thant i'm usisng NIA24 skin stregthening again. Is these combination of products o.k.?
So far I don't have any issues. I just want to double check with you guys. I don't want to overdo it....
Thansk in advance. |

From what I understand, nia and A are fine to mix. But C makes the skin very acidic and you should wait a while before putting anything ph sensitive over it.
Anybody has a more refined answer than that? Lol. |

From the Nia24 website http://www.nia24.com/products/other_prods.cfm:
Patients have seen successful results using the NIA24™ products in combination with other skin care products. You may even find that the efficacy of the NIA24™ products enables you to reduce the dosage of prescription drugs, while still achieving the same positive outcome and minimizing irritation.
The primary goal of the NIA24™ products is to allow penetration of the Pro-Niacin™ molecule into the skin to ensure maximum efficacy. Therefore, it is recommended to use the NIA24™ products FIRST to allow maximum absorption of the molecule to take place. However, if the NIA24™ products are being used in conjunction with a prescribed product or drug, apply the prescribed product first, followed by NIA24™.
In general, NIA24™ products can be used with the following:
Antioxidants
Vitamin C Serums
Alpha Hydroxy Acids/Beta Hydroxy Acids
Glycolic Acids
Tretinoins
Hydroquinones
Other moisturizers, toners/cleansers, etc.
Since each individual’s skin type and sensitivity to various products can vary, it is impossible to know how each individual will react to the NIA24™ products or any combination of products for that matter. Therefore, if a patient is using any of the above or other products, it is recommended to use the NIA24™ products on a test patch of the skin to ensure that the combination of the two does not cause harm.
Because of the unique delivery system of the Pro-Niacin™ molecule, its efficient penetration properties could result in deeper penetration of other molecules as well. Therefore, to avoid driving deeper penetration of other products, administer the products separately, waiting approximately 15 minutes in between product applications. When combining the NIA24™ products with hydroquinones, administer the NIA24™ products first if “spot treating” with the hydroquinones.
Pro-Niacin™ is a powerful molecule that yields powerful results. It works well in combination with other products but must also be treated with caution when combining the NIA24™ products with other skin therapies. |

According to these article
L ascorbic acid and niacinamide shouldn't be used together....
The ingredient in NIA is niacin which is a form of niacinamide per same article...
So I guess CE feluric and NIA don't go together... Any comments?

I have read that information before. I use a Vit. C product and a NAG product. I separate them by at least 45 minutes to an hour. This seems to work for me. To be sure you could just apply one during the night and one at night. Vit. C is suppose to stay in your skin for up to 72 hours so some people don't use it everyday. |
