I have bought some kinetin powder from ebay. The seller seemed to suggest you could just add the powder to your serums, etc. However, I cannot find any information on cruising the net that this is the case. I had been buying a kinetin solution from Skin Essential Actives, but thought this would be more economical. I did contact the seller who replied he knew no more than the info provided on his listing.

Does anyone know what liquid the kinetin powder should be dissolved in?

In fact what would be handy is a simple list of all powdered actives and what they should be dissolved in, or if they can just be added as is.
Does one exist? I try to note everything down as I buy it, but since I am buying from several sources the info can be spotty. I am no chemist, and only use my diy stuff on myself.

also, hopefully you bought the real kinetin from ebay and not the coconut endosperm ( dried coconut juice) which does contain kinetin among many other ingredients... this is soluble ( almost ) in water

On further inspection, SEA also have a solubility chart which I can print out, which is handy. Maybe I should have just stuck with their readymade solution! I will give the caustic a cautious try!
Daler, I would be interested to know what actives (other than vit c) you think are the most effective?
