| I see Skinceuticals samples on eBay all the time, and I was wondering if anyone has experience either buying these or with Skinceuticals sample/travel sizes in general- and if they mark a date to sell/buy by or date the product is no longer considered fresh? I know Skinceuticals won't even ship after Wednesday because they don't want their product stuck in hot mailing facilities, and we all know how fragile Vit. C serums are. I would love to "try before I buy," and spend $150, but not if I'm getting a product that has already gone bad. |

I cant recall the vendor I bought from but the SC CEF samples i received were already an orange-red color in the vials when I opened the package immediately after I got them. No expiry date was on the package or the vials themselves.
I asked Skinceuticals directly about this color change and was told that the product is still good "unless it has turned a brick red color". And that was when I started to make my own serums.  |

It sounds like you were skeptical of the advice that you got.
Are you often skeptical of advice from customer service agents? If so, why? |
