I puchased this in July in order to get a "gift with purchase" set (as all women SHOULD do) . After reading so many raves about it from various places I figured it was worth a go!
Price:
This is an expensive product, a 3 out of 5 in that respect, but even though I believe it is great value for money.
Ingredients:
Aqua (water), herbal extract mixture from: calendula officinalis, chamollia recutita (Maticaria), bellis perennis (daisy), rosa gallica (rose), equsetum arvense (horsetail), althaae officinalis (marshmallow), viola odorata; ceteryl alcohol; sodium cetearyl sulfate; glycerin; carthamus hydroxymethglycinate; aloe barbadenis leaf extract; daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract; rosa centifolia (rose) flower oil; lactic acid; citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract; tocopherol (vitamin E).
Portability & Convenience:
I very much like the metal tube rather than a plastic tube or pump bottle. It is easy to squeeze out (and will be easy to use to the last drop) and product maintains freshness having the full cover (pump bottles are great but get yukky chunks at the opening - man, I am fussy).
I had to buy the full-size (125ml)in order to qualify for the promotion, but I would probably recommend the smaller one unless you have a whole family using it. It is HUGE. I am wondering how I will get through it all by the use-by date (NOV07). I am going to start hubby on it at night and also try in on my feet.
Texture & "feel":
This is a product to use sparingly. It is very thick and a little goes a long way. Leaves the skin feeling beautifully hydrated and smooth but not greasy at all. The only other hand cream I ever liked this much was "La Mer hand treatment" but Jurlique wins the race because of price and ingredients.
Would I buy again?:
Absolutely. I really do love this. I will buy a small size lavender one for the office once my current product runs out too. I still have a desire to try the handcreams of Valmont and Cellcosmet though.....
A warnnig:
Being so nicely fragranced and non-greasy and natural all I thought I would give my mum (77) some to try (thinking I would buy her some if she liked it). She came out in red blotches all over her hands after she used it. Due to a lot of sunspots she said her hands were very sensitive now but she does not have this reaction to her Avon one or any other one (all with "chemicals") that I have seen her use. Just a reminder that "natural" does not necessarily equate to being good for everyone. |

I'm glad you like this! It's a lovely hand cream, and I agree that a little goes a long way. I absolutely love the smell of this!
Btw, also agree with you on the ordering to get a GWP I do that too when the GWP is good, even if I don't need anything |

I got my GWP at Myer back in July.. it was an awesome one too:
small pump bottle rosewater spray (mother stole)
small pump bottle cleansing milk/cream (I had just purchased full size of that too so .. mother stole it)
small tube of daily face cream (not tried yet)
these were all decent-sized trial bottles too!
and two trial sachets:
mask (wait till you read THAT review!! )
Herbal recovery gel (not tried yet)
All in a very nice pouch that now resides in my handbag! |

Sounds like a great Jurlique GWP! All of the Jurlique GPWs I have seen so far were a bit...well...disappointing. How much did you have to spend if you don't mind me asking? Or was it the usual "buy two skincare products and receive..."?
I tried their Day Care Lotion and really liked it - almost bought it duty free when I flew over to the USA, but something (budget) stopped me given that I knew how much money I was going to spend once I hit the likes of Sephora etc when I arrived |

It was a "buy two (full size) products" offer. Wish I had known how awesome the mask was at that time...
OH.. and I can SO feel your Sephora pain... I went nuts in there last November during a trip to Florida. MAN my US friends thought I was rich or something |
