I'm somewhat limited with drugstore mascaras because I always wear brown. I have full, very dark lashes with paler skin and black has never looked good on me- it's too intense looking. Brown seems to bring out the green in my eyes better.
Anyway, I tried this because I hate clumpy mascara. I usually use a bit of wax paper (it leaves no lint on the wand) to remove the excess off of any mascara I use. With this, I don't have to, I can apply it straight. Lasting/smear proof power seems
average. What I don't like about it is that the formula is a more dry type. I prefer a wetter formula like Lash Blast which is my favorite mascara. I do like not have to wipe the wand off and I think I'll keep this for when I can't be bothered with my regular routine. |

I like your tip of using wax paper rather than a tissue to wipe the brush.
I use a Tweezerman lash comb to declump lashes. The metal teeth work better than plastic. EDS sells this. |

Thanks, I'll try one. Actually the one mascara I loved that never clumped was La Femme cake mascara. It would smudge though. Maybe I should try a higher end cake formula. |
