I've seen both of these talked about often on here. Which would you recommend? My nasolabial folds and hollow cheeks are my main concerns. I've used Carol Maggio's without any success. Thank you! |

User results vary according to age, skin type, bone shape, personal interpretation of exercises, age and genetic predisposition to certain ways of aging.
What works for one may not work for another. No way of knowing in advance unless you have the gift of precognition.
Both systems offer huge benefits if performed correctly and assiduously, and both systems have not been quite right for some people whilst being terrific for others.
Has Carole Maggio explained to you why her system hasnt performed in your case? That would give you some concrete information to use , to go forward with. Without that professional personalised feedback, you are in a hit and miss situation no matter what others experiences may or may not be. |

This lady on YouTube also says she tried Carole Maggio's system religiously but it did not work for her, either:

I haven't done Maggio's program but I know a lady who has done it way into her 50's and looks awesome and swears by it--and she has not had work done. IMO 6 months when you have never done any exercise of the face for tens of years is not enough time to reverse those many years' deterioration enough see a change. I just shared in another thread that even with 15 years of face exercise investment in my own face, it still took 8 months for just the parentheses around my mouth to be fixed. So imagine having sag, winkles, fine lines, mass loss...and having to undo all of that, not just a few lines. I think it would take a little longer...maybe not for everyone, but do I think sometimes people give up way too soon forgetting that it didn't take just a short time to get to where they are.
My rule of thumb is, if something isn't making me worse off...and if it made a difference to other people...and didn't make them worse, then perhaps there is something to it and I just need to stick a little longer with it. And I would not just go by the results of one person. I would need more reviews/photo receipts from other folks who started off with my issues to be sold on something working. Also as catski suggested, getting in touch with Carole Maggio might have helped clear some things and perhaps helped one see nuances of improvement one might otherwise have missed.
Don't sleep on professional feedback as catski calls it. It helped me not give up when it seemed initially as if nothing I was doing was making much difference, and that commitment helped me finally reap the fruits of my efforts. |

Catski and Nonie tend to lead by example and *true* thought and conviction. I love that about them. |

I just sent an e-mail to Carole Maggio. I cancelled my Juvederm appt and am going to try another face exercise program combined with the cheapo microcurrent gadget from Amazon (eyezone lifting massager). I may then add in dermarolling, although I am not sure what size to use on the face? I'm also going to look into streamlining my lotions. |

Well it depends on your timing and where you are starting from. For me Ageless is short, sharp and fast producing results and takes only a few minutes and the exercises aren’t difficult to learn. Loulou has both book and dvd (and I would recommend getting both) because you will learn stuff from both. Carolyn’s program when you have learned the exercises is 15 minutes long and there is various CDs that do the count for you, but it does take a while to learn the exercises however it does incorporate massage movements and she does answer emails too which is helpful.
I have tried Facercise, and for me there is no resistance or touching the skin really to engage the muscles, and I have found in my time on EDS that many people who start out with facercise and are proponents of it quickly move on to other things whether electrical devices, or other programs entirely so each to their own. You could always email both and see which response you get from either program creator too.
