My dermatologist has given my retin A and glycolic acid for the last few months, but it's horribly bleached/lightened my skin. I normally have a golden brown skin tone, and it's bleached all over apart from my jaw line/side face and hasn't corrected my dark upper lip shadow. So now its extremely patchy and noticeable.
I've stopped using the products so what can I do now to restore my natural colour? I guess I shouldn't be using the sun to help out so soon after using regeneration products? I have asked before on here and someone suggested a vitamin C serum and a soothing toner containing Pycnogenol. I purchased the toner but would like to hear some more options before I begin using. I really need advice on a whole regime - evening and morning. I'm extremely prone to breakouts so can't use anything oily or dense. When I was using Cetaphil at the start of my course - it was negating the effects of the products - not allowing it to fully tighten and pores remained open.
I do really like that my skin is now tight, and the surface has improved, but I need my colour back! Would GREATLY appreciate any help |
