Hi,

I have huge dark rings around my eyes - it creeps onto my nose and it's between my eye and eyebrow.

I'm unable to post a pic but if you search 'dark eyelids' on google images, it looks pretty much like the girl in the second row first two pictures, and fourth row third picture.

I know the skin underneath the eye and the eyelid are very delicate, and any strong products should be avoided around these areas. I am fine with living with these being dark. But can I use products where its on the nose and underneath my eyebrow or are these areas also too delicate? I can't tell.

I've begun taking pure cod liver oil to help. Makeup doesn't cover as it's too black. What else can I do that's really effective in reducing the darkness? Looking for products as I'm involved in all the standard procedures for dark eyes - sleep, water, no sun, cucumbers etc. I'm aware that this may be hereditary and difficult to fix Sad

I would suggest this sounds like an internally related problem, you can use a good organic cream with caffeine or frankincense in it, you can also do some eye exercises, like tapping around the eyes for dark circles- you can find this on youtube, but you need to remedy the internal problem that is causing this.
I would advise doing a liver and then a kidney cleanse, remember cleanses are tough on the body so pick a time when you can relax.
Then I would look at your diet, you need to eliminate salt that is refined, only eat sea salt, cut out processed foods, eat lots of veggies, dont eat any wheat nor corn and eat very healthy in general. Drink at least one litre of water a day, dont drink sodas, only herbal teas and water. Herbals teas like dandelion and nettle are very good and cleansing.
Make sure you get 8 hours sleep minimum a night.
Exercise at least 3 x a week.

If you dedicate yourself to this regime I promise you your bags will lessen and your entire skin will look so much healthier.
