Hi Ladies! I am 31 and recently started dealing with rosacea. I'd say it's mild to moderate, but definitely affects my ability to go out without wearing makeup and then unfortunately also affects how my makeup looks.
I have yet to see a dermatologist (currently on a 3 month waiting list), but what I have are these red pustules, some with a white head. Is that acne rosacea?
Is there anything I can do in the meantime, while I am waiting for my appointment? I've tried several "home remedies", coconut oil, epsom salt, apple cider vinegar, none of which helped at all.
I've been reading about the Finacea Gel from Australia, but I've never ordered a prescription item online before, and am wondering if it is the same as what I would get in the US, or if there are differences?
Any recommendations are very much appreciated! |

Hi Mrs C,
I highly recommend a product called Dermalex Rosacea. It's not stocked everywhere (I get mine from Boots but fairly sure I've seen it in Lloyds too) but worth scouring the shelves for. <oops - just realised you're in the US not the UK. You can probably find it online though>
I can't say my rosacea has disappeared but it's the best its been in years. Wish I'd discovered this product 5 years ago instead of slathering my face in steroids and no doubt doing even more damage.
Oh well! Hope you find something that works for you. |

I have one friend and know of several others who achieved beautiful, clear skin by using ZZ cream from Demodex Solutions. It's quite dear with the shipping, but it cleared up her very severe acne like nothing else. It's meant to be a solution for rosacea as well. |

I was diagnosed with mild rosacea, and started using the Sqoom RO MedGel with the Merbe (Korean version of the Sqoom device made by the same manufacturer but much cheaper).
Here are some images that were shared by Schick Medical who owns Sqoom:
If you have any questions about the Sqoom/Merbe, you can find us below...several of us are using the RO gel.
