Hey guys,
I just got a pretty bad cut when I accidentally banged my hand into a metal lock. It's a strange puncture-looking wound, looks a bit like a hole and it's pretty deep. I'm worried it'll leave a scar. Any tips as to how to go about preventing scar formation? I cleaned it out with hydrogene peroxide. I think I'm going to put some manuka honey on for now. Any other advice?
Thanks! |

Yes, my advice is to use aloe every day and once the scab is well-established, to massage around the area to increase circulation and speed up healing |

I was told cream with silver is supposed to help heal skin- but you need a prescription for the one you use on open skin.
I have the only kind you can use on healed or not open skin and it does work for getting rid of inflamation and redness.
I've tried Zyderma cream on my face and had a 2" scar that was not healing and was extremely red for over 6 months and no matter what I tried was not getting better till I used cream with silver in it.
I just did a review for the company of my knees and they have the pics up on their facebook page and I had scraped my knees quite bad biking 2 years ago and the redness never went away and my skin at my knees always hurt too.
Now after 3 months, huge difference.
I didn't notice too much until I had someone take a picture for me recently a few weeks ago!
I wasn't paid for the review, but do get a discount on their products.
But they do have a 30ml bottle discounted at one per person on their website. |
