Have nearly finished a jar in less than 2-month time. As a female in mid thirty with dry ski but still suffering from occasional acnes on the chin, the texture of the cream is perfect for my skin type, neither too greasy or too dry. In drier days, I need to add another Valmont cream on top, such as soothing cream, to add extra moisture to my skin. Otherwise, my skin would feel a bit dry with the L'elixir cream alone.
For the result, it's obvious to note that my pores are much smaller. I don't have big pores so far, but this cream manages to make my pores even smaller. It also helps to repair those problematic areas on my skin.
Considering the texture which I like very much and the results so far, I'll definitely repurchase this cream despite its steep price. I've used numerous luxurious face cream (la prairie, la mer, cellcosmet, etc.) in the past years, and this one is definitely the best so far. |

| Further review of Valmont L'Elixir Face Cream - As mentioned earlier, this is not a cream that provides enough hydration to the face, and thus I need to put an extra cream (Valmont's Soothing Cream) as the last step to retain the moisture. However, I found that it might be too heavy for my dry yet acne prone skin. So I change my step by using 2 watery hydrating essences before applying the L'Elixir Serum and Cream. I found that it suits my skin type more. Help to retain moisture without causing excess oil on my T-zone and chin. |
