Oh, dear. I've been contributing to the pollution of the oceans of the world with the microbeads in my facial scrubs. I love microbeads! They're so much better than other scrubbing particles. I use Roc Max Resurfacing Facial Cleanser and it works great. Oil of Olay has a great facial scrub too which has microbeads in it. On the ingredients it's listed as Polyethylene. //*_*\\

I had no idea until someone linked the LA Times story.
I never used micro beads as my skin is so sensitive and I would rather use a clean wash cloth if exfoliate is necessary. |

Sad that apparently most companies will only be *phasing out* products w/ micro beads instead of halting production all together. |
