Has anyone ever heard of the DETOXTURIZER or SEBUM GOLD by a company called Untaken Beauty? I was given samples of these at a med spa where the owner raved about them. She said she was in talks with the company creator to get them permanently stocked in her business. The only thing is, I have sensitive skin and wanted to hear about some other peoples experiences if they've used these products. Also wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions for skin that is dry and acne prone. Benzoyl peroxide really dries me up and reddens my face. But it has been the only thing that has helped a little bit with my acne. |

No, I haven't heard of them. Do you have a link to their products? |

Thanks, Immacolata. Sorry, I should have clarified that I was hoping for a link with the ingredients listed (like Fawnie asks for, too). |

With a little hesitation, I finally did decide to use the samples that I was given. And surprisingly, it has been the best thing I have ever used. I used the Detoxturizer and kept it on my face for 45 mins. I was not impressed when i removed it but extremely satisfied with how soft my face felt. I went ahead and applied 3 drops of the sebum gold and it felt like I hadn't put anything on at all. THEN, the next morning i woke up, and my skin texture was unlike anything I've ever seen. The large pores around my nose were more refined. My forehead has never been much of a problem, but it was completely clear and even in texture. My entire face felt soft and I noticed some decreased redness on my chin. I've been using it for 5 days now and I'm about out of the samples. But my skin improved each night of usage. I'm not the type to praise products, bc i've never had much success. But I've never ran across anything that addressed all of my problems. My face is the best it has looked since pre-puberty. I'm completely ecstatic. |

Sebum gold has listed under it's ingredients:
"simmondsia chinesis seed extract, olea europaea (olive) extract"
The Detoxturizer sample came with a card attached to it with ingredients and a write up on the product. I looked them up for levels of comedogency and couldn't find any that were commedogenic. But I have somehow misplaced the card. But it is touted as noncomedogenic.
I found the website: untakenbeauty. com
It had a lot of information on both products, but I was not able to find the ingredient list anywhere. |
