I too can understand your woes of a sore nose when using the cheap t.p. in schools!! Ouch! However, I do not think that this is to blame for your four-years of trouble, nor is your cleanser. I think that you should consult your doctor about this one. To even suggest that it's a blocked hair follicle would be pretty off the mark, because those do not last as long as what you've described!
If you're looking for a cleanser, we can help you! The Dove bar that you're using is too detergent-based for your skin. Perhaps you should consider trying something non-foaming, such as Phytomer's Gentle Cleansing Milk, or Dermalogica's Essential Cleansing Solution.
