I have 5 45g Tretinoin creams in my cabinet in .025% concentrations. These were left overs from my prescription for acne from a couple of years ago. I could not finish the entire tube for a month but I kept receiving them every month (I had automatic refill and delivery setup at Walgreens). Then I upgraded to the .05% for several months. Recently I have moved up to the .1% but I still have a number of these .025% creams that I have stashed and forgotten about. I don't use Tretinoin anymore for acne but still use the .1% as a nightly regimen for the face as they are so much more effective than the weak retinol creams.
Anyway, the creams have expirations ranging from February 2013 to July 2013. I was told by my pharmacist that these are still good as long as they are unopened and are stored in a cool dry place which I have but once you open them, they are good at least for 1 year. I know these creams cost a lot if your insurance doesn't cover it so if anyone is interested, PM me. Must have good rep in the forum, ok? |
