I need a good full coverage foundation with some oil in it. All the products I've been using (mostly high end) are 'oil free' and too matte. (I've tried Countess Isserlyn but was allergic to the scent.) |

Some ppl like this one which has quite a bit of oil :

The colors are tricky and you may need to ask for samples if they offer them. I found it VERY masky since they use bulk particle zinc which is opaque. It does seem to be good UV protection to boot. You may need to ask about scent. When I used it it was scented with lavender but it looks like they have taken that out now. |

Try adding your own. I'd start with a half pump of argan or jobaba oil in your matte foundation and see how that looks. |

That's good idea - I should have thought of it myself. It seems like I am always 'tweaking' the shade with a little liquid blush to add some warmth, since most tend to be a little too light without it, so I'll also add a shot of moisture, too.
Thanks for you help. |

What about rose hip oil or sea buckthorn oil? |

errr ... I dont know about yours, but my rose hip CO2 oil and sea buckthorn oils are VERY orange. Plus rosehip oil isnt UV stable (it breaks down in sunlight to form free radicals when it decomposes.)
Try meadowfoam or squalane.

This is true! Essential oils are volatile and acidic, so plant oils would be best to mix with foundations and moisturizers, ie olive oil, jobaba, sweet almond oil. |

But doesn't it reduce the coverage? |
