Is anyone else frustrated trying to find the right products for your face? (Like do you think there should be an app or something that recommends the right skin care product based on your location, humidity, tone, etc.?)I think so, sometimes I get lost trying to find the right and best products for me. Any solutions?

App like that would probably be sponsored or otherwise biased, so not result-orientied, even if it managed to suggest something that's supposedly great for your particular skin type and/or skin concern. Like, few years back some brands (Biotherm springs to mind) did some sort of skin scan which determined how many pigment spots one has or how oily/moist/elastic one's skin was and would pick products that would allegedly fix the problem from that particular brand. LoL, better of course than some chart a la Clinique, but still just a selling tool, one would at least need a follow up scan a few months into the treatment to see results or lack thereof... Like that ever happened?
The only way I occasionaly stumble upon products that I like is by trial & error, which is bloody expensive to say the least. I can't stand most of the stuff that other people seem to recommend (you put that on you? awhellnaaw!!! kthxbai!) and I can't do with what magazines or media tries to sell, wouldn't put that on the cheap linoleum in my basement. So yes, it's very frustrating. And I have a kinda vague picture of what I want my shower gel to be like, so that helps me narrow it down somewhat, but it's still unreasonably irritating to find something that somewhat fits the bill, and I'm flexible even, I would even consider a scented shower gel. Rolling Eyes As you can probably tell, I'm looking for a shower gel atm, so don't even get me stated on what major pain it is to find some decent stuff for face.Laughing

Hi superfluous,

I would always get the cleanest product possible and then start experimenting with their line.

For me it was Paula’s Choice line http://www.paulaschoice.com/

Whenever i ruin my skin, experimenting with some new products or gadgets, i always come back to PC to balance it .

They have huge amount of products for all skin types and conditions.

They also not ridiculously expensive like many others.

And you have guaranteed toxins free line.

Have fun

I like Paula's Choice. Simple, fragrance free products and no animal testing. I order samples to try with every order.

I like the tinted SS PC Resist Light spf 30 (zinc).
