I know the HY-OL and Phytoactives are a 2-step routine, but how do they work?
Are you supposed to cleanse with the oil, wash, and then re-cleanse with the Phytoactive - or - do you use the Phytoactive to emulsify the oil rather than using water??
Thanks for ya help! |

I went to St.Domingo last July and spent the money that I won at casino at the spa everyday. My body & face were spoiled for 5 days and taken care of well after staying 3,4 hours at the beach. The spa intropduced me with this cleanser during the session.
First apply HY-OL (oil-soluble phase) on to the dry skin and massage to cleanses the pores, dirt, any excess sebum then apply Phytoactive (water-soluble phase) over the HY-OL and blend them well. Moisten your fingers with cool water and emulsify untill a milky emulsion is formed. This method produces an outstanding cleasing effect without leaving the dryness. But I feel like there is still oil left on my skin, so I use Dermalogica cleaser after this to have a extra fresh feel. I've used it everynight since last july, there is still one month supply left. It lasts a long time. |

I had a sample of the Babor duo and really liked it! I already like the Decleor cleansing oil but I felt that this was better. I applied one, then the other, then emulsified with water and then rinsed

You use the cleansing oil to massage first, then pump phytoactive to add to the oil and continue to massage, then add some water to emulsify and rinse off. |
