Stye eye Ointment

I cannot find a better eye product than this one except for the concern over its medical effect

This is a cheap, moisturizing, non-irritating, long-lasting eye product. I cannot find a substitute that satisfies all the properties. My eye lids would swell, turn red, itch, and dry out when having inflammation. Only this product can save my eyes. Since Stye eye ointment is balm like, and it is also very easy to extend it around my eyes. My only concern is that it may not be good for long-term use in case it contains some special ingredients. So I use it only once a week at most.

Style ointment doesn't have that much in it. Ointments like Bauch & Lomb only have mineral oil and white petroleum.

active ingredients purpose

Mineral oil 31.9% Emollient

White Petrolatum 57.7%Emollient

inactive ingredients

Microcrystalline wax, Stearic acid, Wheat germ oil

Thanks for the very useful information.

If the Style ointment is not different from most eye products, I might be able to use it everyday.

I can feel that it can effectively eliminate inflammation around my eye areas, while I never experience the same effect using other eye products. I thought it must contain some special ingredients.

I think what is happening is that just like one eye ointment works for one person another person may find more success with a different brand. All the ointments are similar with a few differences like the addition of lanolin or ratio of mineral oil to white petroleum. There is an aye ointment with a bit of vitamin A in it called Occunox I may try. So use what is the most comfortable for you.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I just checked Occunox eye product. It seems that it is gel like. I am concerned that it may not be able to moisturize skins as effectively as eye ointment.

Most eye products are either gel or cream. I only find Valmont Eye Factor III to be in balm-like.

I guess eye ointment can eliminate inflammation because it is more greasy.

The ingredients are scarey, mineral oil and petroleum products to put in your eye? No thanks!
