Yes Pablita. Try using the gold standard of coverage for melasma and vitalago and other skin issues. Dermablend is very good. I use it all the time to cover under eye circles and redness on my face. Theres lots of great before and after pictures at their website. Right now I use the Dermablend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream Stick and I love it! Sure hope you can something that works for you. |

Thanks very much for the answer.
I will try dermablend, do you think the normal fundation will be enough to cover the melasma? Or do i need the stick? |

That Camoflage duo of the cover cream and setting powder would work. The video of the lady with vitalago uses it and it covered well for her. Try the cream first. You can start by layering and build it up from there. Both products are full coverage. You will see how natural looking it is.
Myself I do like the foundation stick since its so portable and good to travel with. |

Another brand to try is CoverFx. It is in Shoppers Drug Mart. If you ask a sales assistant, you can get help with a colour match.
I also have a tube of Hard Candy Glamoflague concealer. It works great for around the nose. Very thick and covers well. Tube can be carried in your purse. It is under $10.00 at Walmart. |

Pablita, just read through all the posts. When placing a replacement order I noticed that the product that I use, Monsia Skincare, have added two new lines,a Skin Lightening Cream and an Acne Treatment System. It is available online here in the UK and definitely in the US. I have not used it myself yet but I am seriously thinking about it because I have a spot on my left cheek that does not want to go away! |

Pablita: What country do you live in? In North America you can order on line from Walmart.
I also like mineral makeup. It layers great with a cream product. Many mineral lines have corrector products. I have green for redness. I would look for a full coverage product. Some lines that have full coverage.
Lucy minerals - US
Jenlu - US
Buff'd (Canadian)
There is many others. These are some brands that I currently own and use.
I do own the Hard Candy Glamoflague. It comes in three shades only. |

I used to use Exuviance Coverblend concealer to cover up visible veins and it worked very well. In addition, I would be looking at how to reduce the melasma in the meantime so you can reduce the need for the concealer. I've had good results with a combination of vitamin C, retinol and kojic acid on melasma so there are things you can do to reduce it. |
