I tried out this stuff for one reason...I felt pastey white, I was waiting for a prescription, it was there, and it was cheap.
I normally tan into a nice brown colour which this gel matches really well...no orange tint at all. I found it fairly easy to apply, I think the gel is easier to use than a lotion because it spreads better. I didn't get any streaks..the only problem I had with the application was my feet/ankle area...but that's expected for a girl who has never used a self tanner before.
I'd probably buy this product again...but I'm itching to try the St. Tropez tanners!! |

I use this one as well and find that it's very good. Skin feels *so* silky smooth after applying this stuff! I still prefer the St Tropez in terms of the color but it does give a deeper tan although not so dark that it looks wrong on a pale person like myself. |

I think it's a like it or hate it...I saw some awful reviews on makeupalley.com One girl said she had streaks all over her legs, but I found it easy to apply...I think all tanners are in how you apply it and b/c this doesn't dry super fast you can really spread/rub it in. |

I've never had any luck getting self tanner to look right on my ankles/feet. I wear sunblock all the time but I still get a tennis tan which looks ridiculous when I wear sandals. Is there a product that works better or do I just need to work on my application? |

I had problems around my ankles feet when I applied it...I completely missed my toes and the inner area of my feet. whoops!
I think the application around the feet is difficult in general. I have figured out that you should use less product than you would in other areas. (I just use what's left on my hands after each leg)
It's only march in vancouver..I've got at LEAST a month to figure out how to do the feet properly! |

i have tried this one. I really liked it at first, but when it started to fade, I kind of looked like I had a disease. It looked like lots of tiny brown spots. Weird |

The key to getting a nice, even tan is to exfoliate first.
I have tried this Loreal tanner and love it. It does go on smoothly and leaves skin soft. I didn't notice any weirdness as it faded, but then I try to exfoliate a couple times a week. |

Also, I've found that when applying self tanner to more difficult areas (akles, elbows, knees etc) besides just exfoliating, moisturize the areas really well too, let it sink in for a minute or two, and then apply the tanner. Actually, I moisturize everywhere just to make sure I don't get streaks It may take an extra application to get your desired color, but I've found that way you are almost guaranteed no streaks! |

I've found that the spray on versions in aerosol cans work incredibly well! best smooth even coulour even if you've got really fair skin as they come out in a fine mist that easily blends. All Aussies must know the modelco one which is fantastic, then Loreal and Garnier are all great too. i'm super fair and use these type of tanners all year round every few days. Im addicted! |

ktsweets, instead of moisturizing I cheat and do it right after the shower...lightly dry off then blowdry my body while I'm doing my hair...hehe.
I'm time efficient... |
