How well does micellar lotion cleanse?
Normally I like to cleanse my face with a cleaning foam and water AM and PM, but I'm gearing up for a dermaroll at the moment with different serums and Stuff in the PM, so would like to give my face a break in the AM.
I have a micellar lotion from Avene, do you think that will be enough for taking off residue of vit C, vit A and CP's in the morning?
TIA |

I use Bioderma micellar water in the am. It removes oil and any product that I use overnight.
Micellar water does not remove sunscreen or heavy makeup on its own.
Micellar water is also great for cleaning makeup brushes. I pour a small amount into a paper cup and dip brushes. I have one that I don't like and this is a good way to use it up. |

Autumn, please tell me how you know if sunscreen has been removed? I have used many that I can't see on my skin and the ones that are initially white don't show up on a cotton pad. |

I cleanse my skin with my Boots 7 dry skin cleanser and then go over over my face, throat and eye area with my LaRoche-Posey Micellar water on a cotton ball. I can see make up on the cotton when I do this, so I think it works wonderfully well for getting the last bit off. I've stopped using any other toner.
I also use it in the am after cleansing and follow with my serum and moisturizer.
I love this product and it's my favorite new product this year. |

Great product - especially for fair skin. It looks totally yellow in the container, but it goes on beautifully and just gives a nice warmth to my skin.
It is so finely milled that it is invisible and doesn't 'settle' and emphasize lines. |

IMO yes it's enough. I use La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Micellar Water in the am when I'm rushed and it cleans great! I really saturate a pad and wipe it all over my skin is pretty wet. Then I take my dry towel and pat dry. Done! |
