I'm a bit suprised to see that there are no reviews for this product (or at least none that I am aware of anyway! ) But this is definitely another great Dr H product! I don't normally use cleansing milk seeing as I have combo skin, but this one is not too thick or greasy & turns into a nice light, gentle emulsion when applied to the face. I stopped using this for a while, as I started using Aesop's purifying cleansing cream to get rid of my make-up, but have since re-discovered this great product! I generally use this before my Dr H CC in order to get rid of all my make-up (even eye make-up!) & it does a really good job without irritating my skin at all...I actually prefer this instead of Jurlique's make-up remover. Imo it removes my make-up a lot better, smells great & leaves no oily residue. I also occasionally use this instead of the CC when my skin gets a bit dry or sensitive.
This product definitely gets 5 stars! |

I love my Dr H cleansing milk. I use twice a day, morning and night. At night I do what Dr H recommends. Cleanse and do nothing else, let the skin breathe. Since I've been following his regimen (which is very simple) my skin has never looked healthier. I can actually go without blush if I feel like it. I've been getting compliments on how I look. Less is more. Love Dr H. |

Safire, do you use Dr. H eye makeup? I ask because I love the Cleansing Milk, but it doesn't seem to remove my eye makeup (Dr. H). So, I'm wondering if I should be using a bit more or something.
Thanks for the review! |

shanno, I don't use the Dr. H eye makeup but use the cleansing milk. I actually bought the cleansing milk by accident (meant to buy the cleansing cream) and I love it! It doesn't remove my eye makeup either though. Instead, I've been using jojoba oil to remove eye makeup. It seems to work pretty well. |

I use the cleansing milk as well in the morning and in the evenings before my CC. I love this, it is thick and creamy, yet it doesnt leave your skin feeling oily with a layer of film on your skin like some creamy rich cleansers tend to do. However, it is very weird because I always order Dr. Hauchscka cleansing milk however the last Cleansing milk i've ordered came and it wasn't as rich and creamy like the other's i've used. This one has the consistency of Jurlique make-up remover. Has anybody else experienced this? |

Can't believe I never posted on this thread before - thought I did. Anyway, better late than never....
I'll start by saying I'm a huge Dr H fan. This line is fabulous and I am constantly recommending it to friends and family. I LOVE the Dr H Cleansing Milk. I use the Cleansing Cream in the AM and the Milk in the PM and I find it's great at removing all my makeup. I use Dr H Makeup as well as some products from Jane Iredale and haven't had any trouble removing anything, including stubborn eye makeup. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. It instantly feels softer and fresher and just divine. It's my favourite cleansing milk and one of the only ones I've tried that actually offers results. |

Ok, I want to chime in on this one too. I also LOVE this cleansing milk. From the first time I used it I felt like the scent was perfect for me. It's perfect around the eyes and never burns. Like Wildflower, I use it at night and for now I'm trying the cleansing cream morning and night because of my crazy clogged pores. I am doing a 2 months of all Hauschka to see what happens. I have a deal with the German mother-in-law. She'll send me the Hauschka things that come in tubes. The glass ones (so expensive for her to ship) I can buy from EDS. I'll get a few at a time to get the gift balm, which I also love. |

I'm another fan - I alternate this with my HG Primavera. Dr.H's Cleansing Milk is also HG to me and I find it better used in the winter time when my skin is more dehydrated. It's a bit richer than Primavera and soothes my skin whenever it feels red or irritated from acne. I feel like I don't even need to try other cleansers anymore because I have yet to encounter one I like more. |

I tried using the cleansing milk for 4 months but it dosn't work for my skin. I suddenly have black heads. Now I use cleanser from Ole Henriksen that works much better for me. But I love the Dr H's Cleansing cream!! |

OK I will have to try this one too. I'm using the Dr H cleansing cream, but I need something to remove my makeup, I'm using Cetaphil cleanser for that at the moment. Hopefully I'll like the cleansing milk as much as everyone else does! |

I've tried both the cleansing cream and the cleansing milk. I love them both, however I got some out burst after I used the cream for a week, but I do not have this problem with the milk. And I think it is much lighter(not so creamy as the cream)and that's why I like it better. |

I thought I'd like the milk because I love the cleansing cream, but after using it for a couple of weeks I've realised that it's clogged up my pores. My blackheads returned and I got a few more spots than I had before. I've gone back to using Cetaphil to remove my make-up and my skin is getting better. Such a shame |

I felt it's just the same with the rest of cleansing milk I have used. I am currently rotating between milk and regular facial foam wash because I think the milk one is not really cleaning up my face well enough. Maybe that is what most people complained as clogging up. |

I used this for 4 months as part of an entire routine composed of Dr H. i didnt think this product was amazing but i enjoyed using it and loved the smell and texture, and while for the first 2 months i had great success and skin looked good i had to discontinue using all their products after 4 months because 1. they just werent cleansing my skin enough and 2. my skin became very dehydrated and i developed a strange kind of allergy or reaction to them i think it may have been the plant alcohol or oils in the products. its a shame because i loved the simple routine but my skin just became such a mess i had to give up. |

How does it compare to Lancome's cleansing milk? |

I've now given this up completely due to clogged pores and I am using a sample of Jurlique cleansing lotion. I haven't used it long enough to see whether it clogs my pores, but it is definitely lighter in texture than the Dr H CM, so hopefully it will work better for me |

I have tried Dr H cleansing milk recently too. It's the one Dr H product that I dislike. It smells great, but it doesn't really remove makeup very well and leaves an icky film on my face. Plus I broke out horribly within a week when I hadn't had a pimple in almost a year.
When I want to use a cleanser of this type (colder months), I will use my old stand-by Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser. It smells just as nice, removes all my makeup (even eye) and rinses clean without drying.

I have the basic Dr H products and after 1 month of the Cleansing Milk, I am coming to the realization that it is causing the little bumps! I use the DHCC and it seems OK, but am going to monitor the milk. It may have to go! |

I used this for a week and it just did nothing for me, I still felt like I needed to wash my face again afterwards.
Did not remove and of my make-up and I don't wear heavy make-up.
I think if you have dry, sensitive skin and don't need to wash off make-up then this would be OK for you. |
