| I received a generous sample of Chantecaille's Jasmine & Lily Healing Mask and discovered that it is great for helping to rid your face of dead skin which I have a lot of sometimes because I use Retin A Micro. You just put it onto clean skin, leave for about a minute then rub your face and the dead skin just rolls off. It is great. This is the type of mask that you are supposed to be able to keep on overnight. So, on some nights when I don't use the RA I put it on, rub off the dead skin, rinse and then reapply the mask and leave it on overnight and wake up to a bright complexion. I've done this several times now and plan to purchase the full size when I am finished with my sample. I think it is is better than a physical exfoliant or scrub because you actually get to see the dead skin rolling off your face. |

Hi, I totally agree with you about Chantecaille Jasmine & Lily Healing mask.
This is a cheaper price version of Valmont and Cellcosmet mask. I don't rub off the mask, but rinse it off. I found this product perfect for the winter when my skin peels around my nose and mouth after I have a flu, or windburn or from RetinA.
Overall, I find that I am using less of it because I find that Embryolisse 24 hour moisturizer cream does a great job and a great makeup base. |

| Hi Jom, where did you get a sample of this? I read reviews on MUA and it got very favorable reviews there. I am interested in it, as most of the reviewers said it helps with redness. |

Hi riley, I got the sample from Neiman Marcus, it was a GWP with some cosmetics I bought. If you stop by a counter and ask for a sample I'm sure they would be happy to give it to you. They sell Chantecaille at Neiman Marcus, some Bloomingdales and Nordstrom online. You could also try ebay. Some people sell their Chantecaille GWPs. |

| I wanted to come back and thank you for this review, Jom. I love this mask. It is cooling as soon as you put it on, and very soothing to dry/irritated skin. A huge bonus is that is really diminishes the redness from the broken caps! |

You are right! This mask can calm down broken caps. |

Another mask that is great for dead skin removal is Decléor's Phytopeel exfoliating cream. You leave it on a few minutes and rub it off in small circles and you see dead skin roll off as you mentioned jom.  It also has a nice cooling sensation on the skin. |

OK. Except Phytopeel wouldn't happen to have the "healing" effect that the mask is intended for by its title:

Thanks for that. Except the rubbing off part makes me think you might be referring to a different mask?
