i have micellar cleansing water and didn't know why you would want to customise your own as they are pretty inexpensive.
ONLY 5 INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
Lecithin (soy or sunflower work well)
Oil (must be liquid at room temp)
Face wash of choice
Glycerin
Heated distilled water (not boiling)
i googled for you and i found this
http://www.xovain.com/diy/diy-micellar-water-makeup-remover
let us know how you go. i may try it myself
hope this helps. |

Yes. do share!
It may work out cheaper in the long run.
I still have my existing oil cleanser and a new bottle of micellar cleanser. I'm good for a while. |

Here is my DIY micellar cleansing water recipe i used:
-90 ml distilled water ( in fact i used 1/4 (22.5 ml )hazel witch and 3/4
(67.5 ml )distiled water.( you can use rose water or chamomile tea etc)
-2 tsp liquid soap( I made liquid soap from my soap bar Chagrin Valley tea tree and neem oil) . You can use Dr Bronner tea tree oil liquid soap or other gentle soap.
- 2 grams vegetable glicerine
- 1/2 tsp aloe vera gel
Mixed all ingredients and pour in your bottle.you can keep the bottle in the fridge ( no preservatives). For this batch i did put optiphen 0.75% ( a paraben free preservative)
I was really impressed how well this micellar water worked. I think it worked as good or better that my LaRoche one |
