Hello,
I've been making my own C Serum, and I
think it's time I bought some PH Strips
to test the PH levels.
There are a ton on Ebay..the picture seem to
show values in whole number, 1,2 3, etc.
How can you know If the ph is 5.5 for instance.
Is there a way to measure half values.
I did see some strips with half numbers, but
they were pricey.
Thanks |

Get the lotioncrafter ph 2-9 test strips.
I've also personally had good results using cheap digital PH meters from ebay (the yellow kind)
The ph meters need to be calibrated using the included ph powders which you mix with distilled to create a known ph solution. Once calibrated you can double check the accuracy against the lotioncrafter strips. Be sure to calibrate regularly. |

Fawnie, that's a great idea. why didn't i think of it.
I got some cheapie chinese pH strips and some more expensive ones which has a higher accuracy.
problem is the colurs between pH is so similar.
Gets annoyingly difficult to figure out the exact number.
Was thinking of the digital pH monitor. How often do you have to calibrate? |
