Newbie here.
Just made my first simple LAA Vitamin C serum yesterday and i realised i did not do a good job cleaning the space.
Help.
I realise the importance of
a) cleaning workspace
b) cleaning tools / weighing machine etc
c) cleaning containers
What techniques/methods do you guys use?
I got
- Isopropyl Alcohol (but expired, should be ok for cleaning right?)
- hospital grade disinfectant (anti-bacteria)
- disinfectant spray
- Milton Anti Bacterial Tablets (used for cleaning baby bottles)
- 40cmx60cm Silicone Baking sheet to work off
How to i wash and sanitise the containers for the skin care products?
Right now, I wash them with dishwashing detergent first and airdry.
I realise i takes more than a day to air dry some containers, especially those with very small holes.
And by the time they dry, dust might have got in.
How do you disinfect without leaving any residue?
Do you wash just before you work or prior?
My apartment doesn't have a dish washer which could probably help the drying process.
Any helpful tips is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance |
