I recently started surfing YouTube Skincare and Beauty gurus and have been having a field day watching the various (and numerous!) channels. The following some of these people have is crazy! I've watched a bunch of their tutorials, but with some of them, the list of "what's needed" to get the look is longer than my arm! But, they do look amazing! Love Wayne Goss and Lisa Eldridge...
At 50+ I am just trying to keep it simple, but I've succumbed to the "YouTube made me buy it" a couple of times! I recently cheated on my tried and true Illuminare foundation with Too Faced Born This Way (didn't work for me) LORAC's Porefection (nope) and Becca's Aqua Luminous (absolutely NO - but I do love her highlighters!) I should know better than to veer from the "If it ain't broke" adage. I do the same thing with mascara (still use the Orange tube from Cover Girl...five years later) but can't resist when a new one comes out.
Anyway.... I found a couple of YouTubers who were in "my age" group and they were raving about Cacay Oil and the benefits it had imparted on their skin...(x times stronger than retinol, x times better than Argan and Vitamn E, lines reduced, skin glowing, etc, etc) at first I was all "NO. No more oils" because I had tried several - Emu, Coconut, Jojoba, Oil Cleansers - and none worked for me. They oddly dried out my already dry skin....but, because I am a glutton for punishment and love throwing my hard-earned money out of the window (haha), I thought...okay... ONE more oil to try. I purchased mine on Amazon. I just started using it so we shall see if the claims match the results I have.
I found this link:

Has anyone used it?
I'll make sure to post about any results.
