Hi,
I recently purchased a oil which is widely used in india for massage of new borns as it will help with growth. It has some good ingredients like turmeric in it.Label of the product says ": Promotes ossification, Strengthens the bones. Indication : Muscle-Wasting diseases , Emaciation. "
Is this product good or bad to use on adults face.Half of my brain says , it would help prevent aging as it will prevent the deterioration of facial bone structure, but the other half say, it may make my face shape change, grow bigger or something like that. Please tell me if it is safe to use nor not... |

I'm not so sure any topical can impact bone development or diminishment because it would need to penetrate so many different layers. If you look at bone remodeling you need external techniques such as using weights to impact bone structure and no topical is able to penetrate the many derma layers to impact the bones so easily.
If the oil is for newborns it may contain a wide range of different ingredients. For bone diminishment this is not really a concern for guys based on their hormonal balance. It really is important for women particularly near menopause as that's when our hormones get really out of balance and our bones start degrading. I'm sure a lot of facial issues for women in their 50-60s is due to bone loss (and being in my mid 60's I have seen this myself) but I also love things like the Yamuna ball and FlexEffect bone remodeling techniques as these really do help. Yet a guy in his 40's I suspect is unlikely to be at the impact of bone loss just yet. |
