I have had lots of volume loss lately in the last couple of years. Yes I've been under mega stress, and terrible sleep. But if I fix these two things, can I reverse the volume loss?? I get so depressed because I think, even if I change my lifestyle habits that are bad, I can't reverse the damage done. I would love to put pictures here, but I don't know how. It's got me very down. |

Well, fillers can help with volume loss. Makes sure to find a really good injector, though. |

I don't see a way to upload directly but you could upload to a host site and provide links. |

Depends on your age and the reason. If you google photos of actors, you'll see that everyone's face thins out, unfortunately, with age.
If you can figure out to host of the pic on one of those tinypic hosting links, we could give you better advice.
Definitely start eating really healthy, sunscreen, retin a,etc. |

You know I firmly believe that as long as a person is still breathing and motivated - then there is always a change possible.
Now with stress, its important to realise stress is always a chain reaction of events within the body. Stress and dehydration are always connected, so you may want to start looking at your water intake and whether you are hydrated. Being hydrated will help you feel better too.
Your body is a living, breathing organism thats capable of many wonderful things - so take heart there is always hope.

Maybe Sean is unable to 'advertise' here, but as a long-term Flexeffect user (and also Ageless if you Dare), these resistance training programmes put volume right back in our hands: yes, we lose some facial fat but we can fill again using muscle. I'd consider exercises before getting injections of fillers. |

Sadly, with loss of volume in the face, although some topical serums and creams with hylauronic acid, for example, can help to plump the skin and facial exercises can tone the muscles, in my opinion, only facial fillers such as Juvederm Voluma or Sculptra can offer a solution.
Although they are temporary, I think the effects are cumulative so you can go longer between appointments and also I think there is some evidence that they do help to build collagen in the longer term. |

I agree with @Needl. Face exercises..But more for prevention.
I think some people having a default reaction of fillers while excluding all other possible solutions is making a huge assumption ...especially with not knowing someones age or true condition.
Having seen the original posters picture on another site I'd say she definitely does not need fullers even if she were so inclined..Nice skin with no lines and no sagging. Skin still quite plump. Very youthful looking.
mamaherrera You need to stop worrying so much. |

Hi
I agree with trying exercise etc. This is what I did first and it definitely helped but eventually, it wasn't enough on its own and some very natural filler work has made a major difference.
I would not consider anything more invasive but feel much more confident now I've regained the more youthful contours I used to have, especially in terms of getting rid of hereditary hollowness under my eyes.
We're all very different but for me, it's money well spent. |

Creams with volufiline as an ingredient help me. I use Eveline's Butt Lifter (I'm not sure that's the exact name and I can't go and look right now) as my moisturizer at night. |

I spoke with a plastic surgon regarding the volume loss in my face. It is very bad
He recommended a fat garph. Taking fat from my stomach and a injecting it in my face!
It is natural and my body will not react or reject it... And because I have very thin skin he said it is the only way to get volume back.
It is a very good procedure for volume loss.

Please do your research here - as I know people who had that done and were not happy at all. It isn't "natural" - the injected fat gets treated like an infection and becomes quite hard and lumpy.

I have had autologenous fat injections twice, for the same reasons you stated. Unfortunately it does not last very long. It was expensive and required some downtime as it must be overfilled at first as much of it does not survive the first couple of weeks.
These days I use HA filler which is much more reasonably priced and lasts longer. Having experienced both procedures I feel it has a better result.
If you are worried about it being an"un natural" substance do some reading to reassure yourself. HA is a sugar which is naturally present in the body, in a much greater % in young people, which is why their skin is able to hold the water it needs to look full and radiant. |

I tried CFF for some time (to target volume loss) with no visible results. Very disappointed |
