I got a small cut two months ago on my forehead. I put some hydrogen peroxide on it and the scab formed and fell off in about a week, leaving lighter pink skin in it's place which was level with the rest of my skin. At first I thought this was post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and kept it from the sun while applying polysporin. However it's been two months and I see no signs of improvement. I have darker skin and the pink is lighter than my complexion so I decided to go tanning yesterday to try to even out the spot however there has been no change in pigmentation. Please can someone tell me what is going on and when/if this will heal? |
