Has anyone tried the "terressentials" organic skin care line? I came across a link via the Adam Waters, Natural Skin Care Authority web-site. I'm truly impressed with the knowledge of Jim and Diana (Co-founders). |

I too am impressed with their info but I think the line is preserved with sage and rosemary which can be irritating to those with dry sensitive skin. |

Where did you get that they use sage and rosemary as their preservative? I would be interested.
I checked their "Healthy Person's Guide to Personal Care Ingredients" list. Under "Preservatives", they tend to believe in the Ancient Egyptians, who used cedar, clove, frankincense, and myrrh, or others that have been used for centuries: botanical resins, essential oils, herbal extracts, honey, grain or grape alcohol, salt, sugar, and vinegar.
I still think I would prefer sage and rosemary, rather than potassium sorbate, and/or sodium benzoate, don't you!
I think we should try their products, to find out if they are as good as they seem. |

Just took a quick look at their line and I think the ingredients have changed. The stuff looks fine but I think they are trying to make their stuff more acidic to avoid the use of preservatives. I see orange, lemon oils which smell great but I must emphasize that if you have sensitive skin it can irritate it. There is also peppermint. Sure I think one should try it but you should also know what your skin can tolerate and understand ingredients before trying a brand.
Dont get me wrong, it was one of the lines I considered trying if I could find it here but the type of EOs they use make my skin nervous. I need stuff that is calming and soothing.
Anything that is liquid requires a preservation system of some sort whether paraben, or citric acid based. I know LUSH isnt the most purest line but if you pick and choose there are stuff that has no parabens in it.
I love Angels on Bare Skin and Babyface for that. |

I love their stuff, the owners are nice and products are very good. I used Terraessentials 4-6 yrs ago?
I use their mud hair shampoo, and the flower therapy skincare. Why I stopped? I can't remember But when I was using it, I really like their products. |
