I apply Glycolic Acid in the am and Retin-A Micro in the pm and would like to incorporate Vit C & E into my regime. Should I apply it before or after the GA?
I plan to purchase SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic as the reviews are outstanding. Thoughts on this product?
Thanks in advance. |

I use SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic every night after cleanser. It helps to firm my skin.
The reason I don't use it in the morning is that it makes my face look dark during the day, oxidation effect I guess. |

Hi Kiki, thanks for your reply.
I plan to use it in the morning since I apply Retin-A in the evening, however, I'm unsure if should be applied before or after GA, or if I should alternate.
I have an appt with my dermatologist in a couple of weeks so I will ask her. |

I wouldn't use glycolic and vit c at the same time. Might cause irritation. I'd alternate days, one morning glycolic, next morning vit c and so on.
Sknuceuticals is a great product, but pricey. CSS has a cheaper alternative. Timeless, too I think, but not used it. |

Thank you, ShastaGirl.
I've used Skinceuticals in the past, alternating days with GA. My skin is not sensitive so I think I would be okay but I'm wondering about absorption of each product.
This time, I'm thinking of using Kassy's recipe and making my own. |

In the morning, let the GA absorb and then apply SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic. The GA will lower the ph of your skin, making it optimal to then apply a vitamin c serum. |

I use SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic only at night. You have to use enough sunscreen if you want to use in the morning or the sun will demage your skin. |
