Has anyone tried this foundation? What do you think of it? Is it good for oily skin? Also wondering if there is any place to order it at a discounted price.

Still waiting to hear if anyone else has tried this foundation. It sounds great but was hoping for more feedback. Has anyone out there tried any Tarte products?

If I am correct, I think that there are heaps of reviews for this foundation on Make Up Alley. If its the one I'm thinking of, it has heaps of excellent reviews but I'm pretty sure that a few people mentioned that it was discontinued? Worth having a look on MUA.

Hi babs,

I am one of the people on the original Peaches and Cream thread that tried it out. I just thought I'd let you know I'm still pleased with it. I have been on a foundation hunt the last few months (you should see the collection I have growing Very Happy ) and the Tarte is among the ones that I'm happy I bought. I have only used it a few times though because I don't wear foundation very often. I have oily/combo skin and this foundation dries to a soft silky finish on me. I use a damp sponge to apply; one time I tried with my fingers and it was a bit too heavy for my liking.

It is a limited-edition product that I believe is only available on Tarte's website.

A cheaper, more easily accessible foundation that reminds me of Peaches and Cream is L'Oreal's Cashmere Perfect makeup. It has that same soft finish and I think I actually like it a tad more than Tarte's because it's not quite as powdery.

Hi mamawalnut...Thanks for your feedback on this foundation...it is appreciated. I always worry about trying a new one for fear it will clog my pores or break me out. Since this is oil free it caught my eye. I will look into your other suggestion and if you ever find the "perfect" foundation be sure to let us know.

I have been using the Peaches and Cream for a couple of weeks and like it. The texture is smooth going on (I use my fingers)and it gives a light to medium coverage, in my opinion. It dries to a silky, powdery finish. The only problem I have is that it seems to be slightly too yellow for my skin tone. I have also been using the new cheek stain and really like the color.

Hey oakview...do you have oily skin? I want somethink to look natural not too heavy. I wish I could sample it before purchasing. Did you order yours from Tarte's website?

No, my skin is not oily and tends to run dry. Let's just say it is "mature." I think this would work pretty well with oily skin, though. I use moisturizer underneath and you probably wouldn't have to do that. It does dry quite smooth and powder like. I ordered from their website. I think if you order 3 items you get free shipping and a nice sample. I got a full size highlighter type pencil. It was fast delivery and I liked the products.
